Dear residents, families, and healthcare partners,
Ohman Family Living is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. As many of you know earlier this week we established new protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). These protocols were more stringent than what was required at the time. Although this disrupted many families’ daily routines in visiting their loved ones, we are very grateful for the understanding and cooperation.
Since Tuesday, we have been holding daily conference calls with our leadership team from our three communities to discuss the following: updates from governing bodies (i.e. CDC, WHO, CMS, ODH, Governor’s Office, and others), policy and procedure updates, and emergency planning considerations. Dr. Pawlicki, our medical director, plays a vital role in these discussions and determinations. Furthermore, he is helping us communicate with local hospitals and our attending physicians regarding the appropriate medical practices.
Per the directives of Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, visitation continues to be restricted. In light of these circumstances, we will do our best to help facilitate communication with your loved one via phone and video calls.
If you have not already communicated your email address to our team, please call the main line of any of our communities so we can upload it into our medical records. In effort to stay in touch, we will update our digital platforms as well.
As our President is declaring a national emergency, it continues to be our privilege to serve you and your loved ones.
